SPRING SESSION (4 weeks):

6:00-8:30 p.m.

CLASS DESCRIPTION:

Yupo is a synthetic paper that allows artists to achieve compelling, beautiful abstract painting effects. We will explore how oil paint moves, absorbs, layers, and prints on this unique surface. Each class will offer a demo and new technique suggestion. Studio time will be centered around creating, experimenting, and learning from one another. Students will create a series of abstract paintings throughout the four classes. Previous painting experience is helpful, but not necessary.
